Week 5 at The Den - "You Ever Been to Lubbock?"

Cincinnati vs Texas Tech, Saturday Night at 8:00 PM

It's been a busy start to the season here at Den HQ. We've hosted four tailgates in as many weeks. Our numbers show that momentum is picking up and interest is growing in this Bearcats team! We have a three-week break to restock and refuel for the Homecoming tailgate on October 19. In the meantime, we will host away game watch parties at The Growler House.

This Saturday is the first true road test for our squad, at Texas Tech. It's a night game in Lubbock and the Red Raiders are the betting favorite by 3 points. The Bearcats are looking to build on their strong offensive performance led by Corey Kiner and Xzavier Henderson. Quarterback Brendan Sorsby’s efficiency will be key, as he faces off against Texas Tech’s Behren Morton in what could be a high-scoring game. Despite Texas Tech being slight favorites, Cincinnati’s solid road history suggests they’re ready to challenge the Red Raiders at Jones AT&T Stadium.

At the Growler House, enjoy awesome gameday specials! $4 Cincy Light drafts, $12 Cincy Light pitchers, and a $6 Cincy Light + Red Sea Shot combo. If you're hungry, you can bring your food or order from any of the local Walnut Hills restaurants.

Houston Tailgate Recap

The shade of Scioto Hall makes The Den a comfortable place to hang out before noon kickoffs on hot days. The vibes were off the charts from the start, as DJ Mike pulled the trailer onto the commons with his Cyber Truck. We're 3 for 3 in "killing the keg" and all of the delicious food from Aynie's Catering was consumed. The second edition of our stein-holding competition was a success and is becoming a high point of the tailgate season.

We have reached our final number of season passes for the season at 122 and currently have 191 gameday passes. We had 75 gameday donations come in between Friday and Saturday alone! Incredible support from the community. Thank you!

Congrats to Sam Perrman, our week 3 Partiful RSVP winner and she chose the Cincy Light tin sign as her prize!

A few adjustments we're making for the Homecoming tailgate; Ordering 2 more folding bistro tables for groups to gather 'round. We'll swap out the smaller, low-folding tables. We're getting new beer buckets to replace the ones we've had the past few seasons, as they were all rusting out.
