Saturday at The Den

The cats are back at Nippert, and The Den is back on the Commons. Kickoff is at 3:30 PM, but the party starts at noon. Last week, we set the bar high with a great crowd, perfect weather, and empty coolers. This week? We’re predicting an offensive explosion on the field and at the tailgate. Brendan Sorsby threw for 333 yards and 3 TDs against Bowling Green last week; don’t be surprised if he hits 400 today. Northwestern State gave up 66 points at Minnesota, so the scoreboard could light up this afternoon.

City Bird Chicken is rolling in with a full spread of their crowd-pleasers plus free meal cards, so come hungry and meet their team. DJ Mike will keep the vibes high, while the DSAGC Cheerleaders will perform their routine. Two gallons of our famous Red Sea shots will be ready as your pregame warm-up.

I’ll be handing out envelopes with fridge magnets, stickers, and free meal cards. Find me before kickoff. We’ve got more beer, but BYOB is still encouraged. There is a dedicated ice-only cooler for your beer buckets. (Koozies are out of stock until October.)
