Nippert’s About to Get Loud! Are You Ready?

Saturday’s noon showdown at Nippert isn’t just Cincinnati vs. Iowa State, it’s a battle for Big 12 respect. The Cyclones are sitting at #14, but nobody outside Ames is buying the hype. On the other side, the Bearcats are quietly putting together one of the most explosive passing offenses in the league behind Brendan Sorsby, who has stacked big performances back-to-back. This feels like the week the defense finally grabs that first INT to flip the script. Expect Nippert to be rocking, and don’t be shocked if UC leaves with the Cyclones’ lunch money.

We can’t wait for this crispy Saturday morning down on the Commons. Expect morning jams from DJ Mike Wazowske, red and black bagels from Everything Bagels, and coolers stocked with Garage Beer (plus BYOB). The annual Stein-Holding Competition returns (winner gets a free Den shirt), and don’t forget it’s a “Stripe the Stands game”, so check your section color and don’t be “that guy”.

No Red Sea shots (pause for tears), but we’re we’ll have the fixings for Irish Coffee; the whiskey and cream, you bring the joe. Special guest alert: social media beer-chugger Ronny Doitche is coming through, and he’s ready to embarrass anyone brave enough to step up.
